Q: What happens if I move house?
A: Essentially Beyond will transfer your account to another address within our service area.
Q: Can I meet the cleaner first?
A: This is not necessary as all of our cleaners are screened and background checked, however, it is always a good idea to meet the cleaner to discuss your priorities with her and show her where everything is. We can arrange a meeting with the cleaner at your house at a convenient time to yourself, which can be in the daytime, evening or weekend.
Q: Do I have to stay at home when the cleaner comes to me?
A: No, the cleaners are all very stringently vetted and experienced so that you can leave them to clean alone in your house. Most cleaners are familiar with alarms. From a security point of view, you need to decide whether you are happy to give your cleaner your code and then explain the procedure to her carefully. Most householders find that there is no other way of allowing the cleaner into their home other than to give her a key. The cleaners are background checked and screened for this reason and are instructed by us to keep all keys separate from the addresses of clients. If the idea of giving your cleaner keys is too worrying then we can arrange for a cleaner to come at any time when you are able to let her in, this could be early in the mornings, at the weekends, or in the evenings.
Q: Will Essentially Beyond be able to provide me with a temporary cleaner if my regular cleaner is off sick or on holiday?
A: Yes, Essentially Beyond will always contact you to arrange temporary cover should your regular cleaner let us know that she is unable to come to you for any reason.

Q: Do I contact my cleaner with any problems regarding your services?
A: Essentially Beyond will always be able to communicate any messages to your cleaner, but you may want to give a specific phone number to your cleaner so that she is able to call you directly in case of any problems. However, if you as a client are unhappy with the service you're getting, please let us know immediately and we will talk to your cleaner on your behalf. Sometimes a cleaner does not realize that the standard of her work has slipped and a discrete word from us will be enough to re-establish the previous high standard of her work. Of course, should this not happen or if you would rather not persist with your existing cleaner, Essentially Beyond will be more than happy to find you a replacement cleaner straight away at no additional cost. Also, if you feel that your cleaner is becoming generally unreliable in not informing you or us if she has a problem with attendance at your home, then you should inform us immediately so that we can find you someone else more consistent and respectful of your requirements.
Q: Do I have to choose what scent I want to go with what product?
A: We encourage our clients to read about our scents and what products they come it. You do not need to have a scent preference, in which case we will bring our most popular one. Or, you may specify which scent(s) you'd like us to bring. We are more than happy to bring more than one scent for you to try out during the initial clean. You may change your mind about which scent you'd like us to use in your home as often as you like.
Q: Should I tip my maid?
A: You may wish to leave a tip for your maid if you are satisfied with the work she has done and would like to show her your appreciation. However, it is not expected.
